Spheeris has also directed many films including The Decline of Western Civilization, Megadeth: Wake Up Dead, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years, Wayne’s World, and more. ![]() The documentary was directed by Penelope Spheeris, who is referred to as a ‘rock ‘n roll anthropologist.’ Spheeris has an extensive history with rock and metal as she formed the first Los Angeles music video production company Rock ‘N Reel back in 1974. Stuck in a dead-end job, watching his friends pass him by. Kris Pulaski discovered metal as a teen, had ambitions for her music and Drt Wrk, a band she played with and loved. When George Soto turns twenty-six, his life is less than perfect. Quirk Books published it in hardcover with an appropriately black and red cover. However, the film never got picked up to major distributors. We Sold Our Souls is a 2018 horror novel by Grady Hendrix. Titled We Sold Our Souls for Rock ‘n Roll was originally released back in 2001 and had a limited amount of screenings. A rare documentary following Ozzfest 1999 has surfaced online. ![]()
